Selection process for law enforcement officers The effect of the proposed rule amendment is to allow an out-of-state law enforcement officer, who is currently certified or has been in the last two years, to be placed on the requisition list without taking a written exam. The Bureau of Human Resources received legal consultation that the Family Status Change Forms should be due within 30 days of a qualifying event, such as birth, adoption, marriage or divorce.
